Jeri

My last story I want to share with you is about Jeri, a dear friend we made while we were here but sadly he no longer exists. The day it snowed and we met Steven the squirrel, (read story below) We also decided to take a walk to see if we could make it to the town, seeing as the camp we are living on is farther out it would have taken us almost an hour but I couldn't make it so we came back. And that is where Jeri comes into the picture. On our way back into campus there it was on the side of the road, snow, clean white sticky snow. I could not help myself I wanted so much to make something out of the snow. So I did, I started rolling and padding, and with the help of Andreas together we made our first friend, Jeri. His name comes from the "Jerico way" road sign that was directly across from where Jeri made his home. Not very original on his parents account but we all can't have the name Jessica. ;) It was our one and only friend that we had made so far, we wanted to make more friends and I tried outside our front door but it was just not the same. Unfortunately the weather started to change a bit and we are sad to say that the last time we went out to see Jeri, he was gone. Sometimes those relationships just don't last.
