Alarmed

So we haven't been having very good sleep lately, we have been switching our mattresses around because being at a camp we tend to have a wide quantity. But it just isn't good, we end up waking up with soar backs and miserable sleeps. On Wednesday night after a good bible study meeting we came home to rest praying for a good sleep, and it was until 4:47 in the morning. At that time in the morning we were both violently woken up to our screechy fire alarm. And as soon as I stood up out of bed it went off. Then came back on. So Andreas and I proceeded up stairs, wrapped up in our blankets in case of a quick get away, but we found no hint of a fire. Meanwhile our alarm proceded to go off and on. So because being at a camp we also have other places to sleep in which is very handy so we grabbed our bedding and my cellphone and left our house towards the main building in hopes that we will find our house in one peice in the later morning hours. So after going to sleep again and waking up at a decent hour we headed back to our house that was still in one peice thank goodness and I smelled a weird odor of campfire smoke. So I phoned my mom to see what could be the cause of this smell and rude awaking, and she told me to phone Sask Energy. So we got Sask Energy to come out and check our house for a gas leak and well, he told us that we had two major leaks coming from our furnace and our gas fire place and turned off all our gas to our house and told us to get it fixed. So thankfully enough the director knew of a friend who is a professional gas leak fixer and he came out right away and got the job done. But we still have no logical explaination as to why our fire alarm went off, it could be that Wednesday night Andreas opened the door to the furnace room and then burnt a candle beside our bed which created carbon monoxide that made it's way to the alarm, it could be just falty system. But we think it might be God sending a wake up call so that we could get our gas leaks fixed, next time though I think I might apreciate a phone call instead of a fire alarm.
